for who
The certified diver who has an interest in developing the minimum skills and knowledge for cavern and overhead environment diving within the limits of light penetration.
prerequisites
-Minimum age: 18, 15 with parental consent.
-Minimum certification: SDI Open Water or equivalent.
-Provided proof of 25 logged open water dives.

The proper planning, procedures, techniques, and hazards of cavern diving.
qualification
Cavern diving activities without direct supervision adhere to the following limits:
-Daylight zone, i.e., within natural light of the cavern entrance.
-Penetration is limited to the one-third air rule of a single diving cylinder or the one-sixth air rule if using double cylinders.
-61 linear metres/200 linear feet from the surface.
-40 metres/130 feet maximum depth.
-No decompression diving.
-No restrictions. No area is too small for two divers to pass side by side.
-Safety stops as appropriate or necessary.
-Maintain a continuous guideline.
-Proper cavern diving equipment is used.
-No removal or life support equipment shall be permitted within the overhead environment.
