TDI-Stage Cave Diver
for who
The certified diver who has an interest in extending bottom times and/or penetration distance through the use of stage cylinders.
prerequisites
-Minimum age: 18.
-Minimum certification: TDI Full Cave Diver certification or equivalent.
-Provided proof of at least 25 non-training full cave dives.

Plan dives that may incorporate longer bottom times, complex dive planning, and multiple methods of gas management.
qualification
Stage cave diving activities without direct supervision adhere to the following limits:
-Penetration is limited to the one-third air rule, or a more conservative air plan at the instructor's discretion.
-No equipment removal in the cave except for the stage cylinders.
-Students are encouraged to gain experience before attempting to plan and execute complex stage cave dives.
-Safety and decompression stops are completed as appropriate or necessary.
